| ============================================== Clan Certification Koori Clan (Hyouton Release) The Koori clan is based in the Water country. It specializes in controlling ice and using Hyonton (氷遁, Ice Element) jutsus. Clan members can create ice from water sources, ground moisture, and air moisture, depending on their strength. Hyouton, or Ice Element, takes the form of Ice attacks and defenses. Hyouton is formed through the simultaneous usage of Water and Wind styles. Members of the Koori clan have the ability to form and shape ice molecules to varying degrees of ability. While all ninja could theoretically create an ice-based jutsu from a water source, Koori members can re-use ice, or chunks of natural ice in the area. The more ice in the area, the stronger their attacks can become since it can come from more points of origin. Koori clan members' control of ice and water makes them highly dangerous in combat. Their ice techniques are extremely versatile in that they can cause cutting damage, bludgeoning damage, trap the opponent, and cause extra effects like numbness and frostbite. Koori is strong and immobile, while more malleable and controllable than most elements. Clan members have a natural resistance to cold, and can be in colder temperatures wearing few clothes, where most would quickly succumb to frostbite. Their ability to form hand seals with one hand is also an advantage. However, members of the Koori clan are generally physically weak, having concerned themselves more about powers of the mind, so that they may use the potential of their abilities to the maximum, than physical strength; thus, through the generations the clan members' physical abilities have lessened, leaving them somewhat effeminate. Their Hyonton also requires a reasonable humidity or water source to use, making it difficult or impossible to use their techniques in very dry climates. Additionally, they must be reasonably near the source of moisture to create ice and frost; they can not point and make ice erupt from the water two hundred feet away. Koori members are susceptible to heat, their jutsu melting quickly before it, and find themselves needing to hydrate much more often than most. Special Characteristics: There are no distinct trails connected with the KKG. Jutsu:- Spoiler:
D-Rank: Hyonton: Aisu Ibuki no Jutsu ("Ice Element: Ice Breath Technique") The ninja blows hard, an icy chill tinting their breath that overtakes the opponent. Ice crystals form in the air around the opponent and on their skin, making it harder to move and generally very cold. [D-Rank]
Hyonton: Koori-Seki no Jutsu ("Ice Element: Ice Cough Technique") The ninja forms a hand seal and inhales deeply, concentrating chakra in their throat. With a might cough, they then spit out a hail of marble sized balls of ice at the opponent. These bits of hail move very fast and are capable of leaving welts or striking an opponent in the eye and causing more severe damage. [D-Rank]
Hyonton: Tsubame Fubuki ("Ice Element: Snow Storm Swallows") Hyouton: Tsubame Fubuki is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the ice element. The ninja creates ice swallows which are launched at the opponent. As they fly through the air, these deadly birds can hone in on their target, cutting skin or shattering into their eyes. They can be relatively easily melted with a fire jutsu. [D-Rank]
------------------------------------------------------
C-Rank: Hyonton: Aisu Bunshin no Jutsu ("Ice Element: Ice Clone Technique") The ninja forms a clone made out of ice. These ice clones are extremely hard and difficult to destroy, but are also slower than a usual Bunshin. The ninja can also keep reforming the clones with chakra. The ice clones can manipulate their shape to a degree, making their hands into blades, or chipping off pieces of their skin to throw as shuriken. [C-Rank]
Hyonton: Aisu Kaze no Jutsu ("Ice Element: Ice Breeze") A stronger version of the Aisu Ibuki. The ninja forms the necessary hand seals, draws chakra into the chest, and then immediately exhales a swift blast of very chilling wind and icy crystals from the mouth. Those who are hit and engulfed in it in a whiles time gradually freeze up in an icy prison; at first, it feels like being struck by an abrupt blast of cold. The ninja can use it to freeze the ground or water. [C-Rank]
Hyonton: Aisu Shuriken no Jutsu ("Ice Element: Ice Throwing Star Technique") Beginning like the Koonsunoo Shuriken, the user forms a shuriken made of of snow in their hand. However, they follow it with using their chakra to harden the snow into super-dense ice. The process takes a little more than a second. The ice shuriken can cut easily and cause the surrounding skin to become numb. [C-Rank]
Hyonton: Hyoukabe no Jutsu ("Ice Element: Ice Wall Technique") Through the use of this technique, the user performs the needed hand seals and places their hands on the ground. A mound of snow will erupt upward, condense, and shape into a wall of solid ice about three feet thick. The wall is capable of providing protection against physical and ninjutsu attacks. However, the wall can be easily destroyed by really strong physical attacks and stronger ninjutsu attacks. It cannot stand up to fire element jutsu very well. [C-Rank]
Hyonton: Shimo Sensuifu ("Ice Element: Frost Diver") Summons a cluster of ice spikes from the ground that erupts with violent force, capable of entrapping its target. They can be easily melted, or broken by a really forceful attack. [C-Rank]
Hyonton: Tousou Ittou no Jutsu ("Ice Element: Frostbite Blade") Tousou Ittou no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Ice element. The ninja pours chakra into a hand-held blade (like a sword, knife, or claw weapon) while attacking with it. Whenever an enemy is cut or stabbed with said weapon, the signs of frostbite will appear around and inside the wound. this technique cannot be used on projectile weapons such as kunai or shuriken, as the effects disperse when the ninja is not holding the weapon. [C-Rank]
--------------------------------------------------------
B-Rank: Hyonton: Aisu Ohitsuji ("Ice Element: Ice Ram") The ninja forms hand seals and clamps their hands together. From the ground in front of them, a column of ice, adorned with a carved ram's head in the front, erupts forward. It's a straightforward attack, but can easily smash through rock. [B-Rank]
Hyonton: Aisu Shuriken Renda no Jutsu ("Ice Element: Ice Shuriken Barrage Technique") An advanced version of the Aisu Shuriken no Jutsu. The user forms hand seals, and ice crystals collect in the air around them, quickly forming into shuriken of ice. These ice shuriken float around the user until, at their will, they rocket forward at the opponent. [B-Rank]
Hyonton: Aisu Yari ("Ice Element: Ice Spear") The ninja slides their hand along the ground, and as they pull it up, a spear of ice erupts from the ground beneath their hand. The user swings their hand all the way forward, and the spear of ice flies through the air at high speed, threatening to gore the opponent. [B-Rank]
Hyonton: Haryuu Mouko ("Ice Element: Destruction Dragon Fierce Tiger") Hyouton Haryuu Mouko is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Ice Element. After forming the needed hand seals, an ice tiger will rise from the ground and burst forward at the opponent like a high-speed missile, snow and icicles spiraling behind it in its wake. Its cold nature can freeze any nearby water, and its large mass can cause a large amount of damage when it impacts. [B-Rank]
Hyonton: Hyouga Kujiku ("Ice Element: Glacier Crush") Slamming their hands to the ground, the user causes two large walls of ise to burst from the ground on either side of the opponent, moving toward one another with the intent of crushing the unfortunate target between them. [B-Rank]
Hyonton: Gyouko Bunshin no Jutsu ("Ice Element: Freezing Clone") Instead of ice, this Bunshin is formed from loose snow. It's weak, but can move surprisingly fast. The Bunshin can throw parts of its body at the opponent, which harden into ice in midair. It can also grab the opponent, wrapping around their body, and turn into ice. [B-Rank]
Hyonton: Hyourou no Jutsu ("Ice Element: Ice Prison Technique") Hyourou no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the ice element. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja will touch the ground, causing columns of ice to rise from the ground at the foe. If caught, the ice will rise up around the target and imprison them. The user can also use this technique as a defensive measure, raising the ice to form a shield against incoming attacks. [B-Rank]
Hyonton: Iteru no Jutsu ("Ice Element: Flash Freeze Technique") This jutsu turns all water in the nearby area surrounding the individual into a thick layer of ice, which is capable of being stood on. The user can also change the thickness of the ice at certain areas, to trick the opponent into stepping on a thin area. [B-Rank; variation in the thickness of the ice must be noted in the post, otherwise it will just be assumed the ice is a few inches thick.]
Hyonton: Kooriryu ("Ice Element: Ice Dragon") A jutsu utilizing the ice element, the user of this technique will manipulate moisture in the air to reapidly freeze and come together in the shape of a massive ice dragon. This dragon can then be used to either crash down upon an opponent with great crashing force or with the ability to freeze them in place with a tremendous amount of freezing power [B-Rank]
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
A-Rank: Hyonton: Aisu Dankai ("Ice Element: Ice Fragments Release") Through the use of this kinjutsu technique, the clan member focuses their chakra inward, pushing their own body's water out. Once the water is pushed out, the water is so highly fused with the user's chakra that it floats off of their body in the form of thousands of tiny droplets and floats around them. The droplets are then turned into a tiny sharp shards of black ice and can be freely controlled and manipulated by the user. The droplets are harder and sharper than any sort of natural metal, making it easy to cut and pierce the opponent from any/all angles. The user should not use this technique for very long AT ALL, otherwise the chakra drain will be immense. The water drained from the body by itself will leave the user weak for about a week or so. However, with heavy chakra drain and sustained use of the technique, it could very easily kill the user. [A-rank]
Hyonton: Itsukaku Hakuegei ("Ice Element: One-Horned Whale") Hyouton Itsukaku Hakuegei is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Ice Element. After forming the needed hand seals, a gigantic horned white whale made of ice will rise from the ground to come thundering down on an opponent, crushing them and the surrounding area under its large mass. [A-Rank]
Hyonton: Koori Souryuu ("Ice Element: Ice Twin Dragon ") Through the utilization of this jutsu, two massive Ice Dragon techniques are combined to form a twin headed serpent. With this increase in size, the desturctive potential of the combined dragons is increased exponentially and its area of effect in terms of freezing is also greatly expanded. [A-Rank]
History:Long ago, because of constant wars and economic strife, the people of the Mist Country blamed their troubles on the actions of the ninja, directing most of their hate towards those with advanced bloodlines and aiming to wipe them out. Few members of this clan survived over the years, and those with the bloodline are few and far between nowadays. Before the War, the Koori formed a pact with the Water country, gaining a crucial advantage over the rival clans in exchange for their services and land. The Koori and the Water country had an amiable relationship for several decades. However, in the time of peace, they became weaker; the size of their battle forces subsided, and the clan's proud conquering history was replaced by one of culture and art. The Koori were not by nature bloodthirsty or ambitious, but had only recognized the need to remain the strongest during the bygone era, to ensure their vital continuation. It was in the certainty that peace would reign that the Koori would end. Members: (Limited to 10)

| We already have an Ice using KG clan, but whatever. Make the Freezing Clone jutsu into a B rank. I like the Ice Fragments Release. In fact I'm so impressed I'll award you 1 point for creativity.
APPROVED 1/2 and +1 point to your account
Shame you didn't add Haku's Demonic Ice Mirrors. |
